Kane County Sheriff Ron Hain and Undersheriff Amy Johnson invite residents to take the plunge with them and support Special Olympics Illinois.

The Kane County Sheriff's Sharks plunging team will jump into frigid waters on March 5 at the Maple Park Fire Station.  The event begins at noon and benefits the 2023 Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois. The jump will take place at 12:45 p.m.

Special Olympics Illinois supports more than 21,000 traditional athletes with intellectual disabilities and 9,000 young athletes across the state.  Programming provided by Special Olympics includes year-round training and competition, as well as leadership, personal development and health education opportunities.
