In
response to the recent confirmed measles case in Kane County, the Kane
County Health Department is offering free measles, mumps and rubella
(MMR) vaccines at no cost through Friday, September 4, 2026 to eligible
Kane County residents who are not adequately protected against measles.
You may be eligible if you:
• Were born in or after 1957
• Are over 18 months of age
• Have not received any MMR vaccine
• Have received only one dose of MMR (two doses are currently recommended for full protection)
• Do not have documentation of measles vaccination or immunity
• Are otherwise not adequately protected against measles

Important:
This vaccination opportunity is NOT for individuals who were
potentially exposed to measles at either of the two identified exposure
locations and are currently under quarantine. If you are currently
quarantining because of a potential measles exposure, follow the
instructions provided to you by the health department and contact KCHD
with questions.
