More than 200 cars participated in the event, where community members picked up a variety of materials to support the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline awareness campaign.

At the event, the following items were distributed:

  • 988 materials including yard signs, window clings, and magnets: 988 items

  • Naloxone kits: 434 kits

  • Biometric gun safes: 70 safes

  • Gun cable locks: 317 locks

  • Locking drug storage bags: 99 bags

This initiative was part of KCHD’s efforts to increase community awareness of the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, reduce stigma around mental health and suicide, and provide immediate, confidential support for those in need.     KCHD drive thru 2025 1.jpg
