2023/24 Kane County Forest Preserve Winter Photo Contest

Share your winter photos of local flora and fauna and other exciting things seen throughout Kane County forest preserves. Simply send your photo via Facebook Messenger, and we'll add it to our 2023/24 Facebook Winter Photo Contest album. The photo(s) with the most likes wins!

⚠️Entry Rules and Regulations⚠️
Open to the public; (1) entry per person
Accepting submissions Dec. 14 - Jan. 11
Album will be released Jan. 12
Voting begins Jan 12 - Jan. 19 (closes at 4:30 p.m. CST)
Winners will be announced Jan. 20 via social media

ENTRIES MUST INCLUDE:
- First and Last Name
- (1) Photo entry per person
- Preserve Location [MUST BE TAKEN WITHIN A KANE COUNTY FOREST PRESERVE]
- Photos should be current, preferably taken between Dec. 1, 2023 - Jan. 11, 2024.

PRIZES:
🥇1st Place: Cast-iron skillet, thermos, District mug w/ hot cocoa pouch inside, District cutting board, District wooden spoon, Creek Bend blanket, winning photo featured as our Facebook cover photo and (1) Snowshoe Adventure voucher.
🥈2nd Place: District mug w/ hot cocoa pouch inside, District cutting board, District wooden spoon, Creek Bend blanket and a $15 voucher for a public nature program.
🥉3rd Place: District mug w/ hot cocoa pouch inside, Creek Bend blanket and a $5 voucher for a public nature program.
