Kane County Connects Editor Recognized for Years of Service

​Longtime Editor of the Kane County Connects newsletter and website, Rick Nagel received a round of applause from the Kane County Board for his eight years of service providing timely information about the County to its residents.
"Rick is a lifelong Kane County resident and journalist who has had his eye on local issues for his entire career. His high ethical standards and relaxed interview style always brought out the heart of the story," said County Board Member Drew Frasz. "I congratulate him on his service to Kane County and taking Kane County Connects from concept to 20,000 readers."
Nagel retired last month. Kane County Connects continues with new articles on its webpage and in a newsletter sent twice a week.
