Newly Improved Kane County Fabyan Parkway Recycling Center Reopens Ahead of Schedule
The Kane County Recycling Center at 517 E. Fabyan Parkway in Geneva will reopen ahead of schedule on Monday, Nov. 9, following driveway paving and other site improvements.
The center had been temporarily closed since Oct. 19 to accommodate the improvements, with reopening originally anticipated in mid-November.
The facility is one of two Kane County-operated “Electronics and More” recycling centers serving residents. The second location is at 900 Angle Tarn in West Dundee.
Both centers are open Monday through Friday year-round. No appointment is necessary.
NOTE: Previously scheduled pop-up events near the Fabyan Parkway Recycling Center have been canceled. For information about accepted materials, locations and hours, visit Kane County Recycling Centers.
ALSO NOTE: Both sites will be closed on November 11 in observation of Veterans Day.
