Kane County Board Appoints New Representatives for Districts 2 and 9
Jennifer Abbatacola (pictured left) of Hampshire was appointed by the Kane County Board to serve District 9 following the resignation of Gary Daugherty, who stepped down in December. According to her resume, her experience includes work in private enterprise, nonprofit organizations, and civic engagement, with responsibilities related to operations, budgeting, compliance, and personnel management.
Kimberly Young (pictured right) of Batavia was appointed to serve District 2 following the passing of Dale Berman last year. According to her resume, she is a small business owner and healthcare professional with 35 years of experience serving families across Kane County. Both Young and Abbatacola will serve on the Kane County Board until voters select a permanent representative in the November general election.
