“Time spent with cats is never wasted." – Sigmund Freud, Austrian neurologist & founder of psychoanalysis

He enjoys sitting contentedly in all of his orangeness.

When he's in his silliness, he will lie across the floor, stretching out and rolling around as though he's trying to straddle the hallway. He enjoys taking up space for the pure pleasure of it, preferably when the sun is streaming through the window.

He sits and stares at nothing which he continues to do throughout the day. You might ask yourself, who is this incredible creature? And why is it that his spider senses seem to click in only sometimes while other times, it seems as though he forgot he was a cat?  mrmister.jpeg

It's no mystery! It's Mr. Mister, an orange 2-year-old, neutered male Domestic Shorthair found as a stray in someone's front yard!

He seems to like toys, specifically the fishing pole with a toy or feather on the end. He actually enjoys attempting to grab the pole and not necessarily what's on the end of it.

He is an extremely social cat, especially when meeting new people. He will rush over to them so he can rub up against them and purr while he's getting petted. Young or old or anyone in between, Mr. Mister definitely enjoys the human touch with all of his interactions.

However, that's not how it is on the feline side of the equation. Other cats either scare him or interfere with his orange sensibilities, so we definitely suggest he gets adopted with a family that has had some experience in introducing cats. He is getting better with initially meeting a new feline, however, it's always better to be on the safe side.

On his own, Mr. Mister is all ready to spend his days with his new family. He's looking forward to giving them the opportunity to pamper him with pets and belly rubs and sunbeams!
