Kane County Animal Control Pet of the Week - Oogie
He's quiet, but attentive. He's stealthy, but he can zoom if he has to.
From the covering of his safe place, he watches people until he's absolutely certain he will get the attention he craves, which means lots of pets.

When the time is right, he leaves his hiding place and runs out to greet everyone who has come to visit him. Putting his head down so he can receive nonstop attention, he's finally enjoying his purr-fect happy place.
His name is Oogie and he's a neutered male, brown tabby Domestic Shorthair that appears to be about 10-months-old.
He was found as a stray, which might be why he's a bit hesitant to let his guard down. His rule-of-paw seems to be to sit back and watch first. Then, if there's an all clear, run to the people, greet them, then, expect pets, lots of pets.
Other cats don't bother him. He seems to get along with most other felines after a proper introduction.
After all, he's not about who's king of the cat tower, but who is first in line to get loved and petted.
