Please watch the Kanevax.org website for dates and times for 6 month and over vaccine clinics. We anticipate offering shots starting next week.

On June 18, the CDC announced its recommendation that children age 6 months and older should get a Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. The decision was made after analyzing substantial data from clinical trials involving thousands of children, confirming the vaccine's safety and effectiveness for children in this age group.

Kane County Health Department has pre-ordered both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.  The department is waiting for the shipments to arrive safely, then officials will post clinic dates and times for registering for a vaccine at Kanevax.org.

Vaccines will be given at the Kane Vax Hub and are by appointment only.

Tentatively the Kane County Health Department expects clinic dates starting the last week of June.
