She was recognized for modernizing her office and enhancing transparency through the launch of an updated online checkbook that provides real-time access to county spending, producing an audit that led to cost-saving improvements in the purchasing card system, advancing policy changes through the County Board, and creating an internship program for students interested in government service and auditing.
